Investing in the Local Supply Chain

ESB brings a track record of investment in the local supply chain for offshore wind development through the Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm, a joint venture with EDF which is currently under construction, and the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, a joint venture with Red Rock Power which is currently in advanced development. As of Q1 2024, Inch Cape has invested almost £220 million with 262 UK companies and is set to spend a further (approx.) £700 million with the UK supply chain.

ESB is currently developing a Supply Chain Development Statement that will focus on building the regional supply chain around the project Malin Sea Offshore Wind, supporting and working with local communities.
